MATTISKE CONSULTINGThe Team |
Dr Libby Mattiske has over twenty-five years' experience in flora and vegetation surveys, in Australia and Australian External Territories.
Her particular interests are in the flora, vegetation and ecology of Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory. She also has a strong interest in the management of remnant native vegetation and in the rehabilitation and restoration of vegetation on highly disturbed landforms.
She founded E M Mattiske and Associates, the predecessor of Mattiske Consulting, in 1979, and has led the business since that time.
Libby is a former Commissioner of the Australian Heritage Commission and a former member and deputy chairman of the Western Australian National Parks and Nature Conservation Authority.
Mr Trevor Mattiske has over twenty-five years' experience in the application of computers to mining problems, with particular reference to mine evaluation and production problems.
His present focus is on mine production management and systems, including real-time truck monitoring and control systems in open-cut mines. He and his team have developed considerable experience in the monitoring, optimisation and control of material movements and equipment utilisation, from original ore block to final customer, whether that customer be a mill, a refinery or a port.
He spends a large proportion of his time at operating mine sites, in Australia, Southern Asia and South East Asia. Consequently, he has developed a wide knowledge of mining practices (both open cut and underground) in a wide range of commodities, and a strong understanding of the various problems encountered in the application of computing techniques to mine planning, production control and production reporting problems.
Trevor is a member of the Mining Information Systems consortium.
Mrs Koch is a senior botanist with over twenty years' experience in the flora of the Swan Coastal Plain and the South-West region of Western Australia.
