Mattiske Consulting Pty Ltd (and previously prior to 1994 - E.M. Mattiske and Associates) have undertaken a wide range of baseline flora and vegetation assessments. These baseline studies have included over a thousand projects over the period from 1979 to 2015 and have included:
Desktop assessments (based on available databases and also experience of Mattiske team members with respective species and vegetation communities).
Threatened and priority flora species monitoring.
Level 1 and 2 Flora and Vegetation assessments.

Targeted weed assessments.
Mapping of baseline vegetation values at a range of scales including floristic, site-vegetation typing, structural formations, vegetation complexes, ecological vegetation systems, forest ecosystems.
Mapping of baseline vegetation condition based on inherent values and condition rating scales.

The information collected has assisted in the preparation of environment impact assessments, native vegetation clearing permits, applications for controlled actions, applications for re-classification of conservation ratings of species, client's needs in relation to assessing progress on rehabilitation areas.
