Mattiske Consulting Pty Ltd (and prior to 1994 - E.M. Mattiske and Associates) have undertaken a wide range of vegetation monitoring programs for many clients. These monitoring programs have included:
Threatened and priority flora species monitoring.
Flora and vegetation monitoring on rehabilitation areas throughout Western Australia and several specific sites in Queensland and South Australia.
Groundwater dependent ecosystem health monitoring.
Monitoring of foliage, flora and vegetation condition (including vascular and non-vascular species) in response to dust and gaseous emissions (e.g. sulphur dioxide).
Analogue (control/reference) site monitoring to assess progress on disturbed or modified environments.
Monitoring of flora and vegetation in relation to changing site conditions (logging regimes, groundwater levels, surface flows).
Assisting fauna teams develop appropriate sampling regimes through developing appropriate monitoring locations based on landforms, soils, vegetation and the resulting fauna habitats.
